A swim team cannot exist without parent involvement. Volunteers are needed for every meet, both home and away. All parents are required to volunteer at least two times per family during the season.

Volunteer Job Descriptions
Stroke & Turn Judge – Judges races for legal starts, turns and strokes (experience required- training will be provided)
Announcer - Announce and begins the events and the heats.
Clerk of Course – Organize swimmers before events, making sure they make it to their lanes for the start.
Head Timer – Ensures timers are ready and runs backup stopwatch
Timer – Works with a timer from the other team to time each race
Runner – Brings time sheets from timers and DQ slips to Computer Operator table
Times/ Data reader – accurately reading and recording data from swimmers time sheets.
Ribbon Helper – Sticks labels on ribbons and files ribbons
Meet Set Up – Help set up equipment, concessions, spectator areas, team areas, etc.
Meet Clean Up – Help clean up and put away equipment, trash, furniture, etc.
Concessions – Help sell food and beverages at meets
